Veron is the Real thing

 

Real Madrid have increased their interest in Chelsea midfielder Veron, the Argentine is being chased as a replacement for David Beckham who switched to Chelsea earlier this week,

No official bid has been made by Madrid but they have asked Chelsea for a price.

 

Rangers inspired

 

Queen’s Park Rangers have been inspired by 30 year-old Midfielder Ainsworth – scoring 8 goals in 9 games,

Q.P.R. drew 2-2 with Wolves and Ainsworth scored twice,

This comes as a shock after Q.P.R. were predicted to be relegated at the start of the season, it’s still early days but if they keep this up they could find themselves in the play-off’s before long.

 

 

City start from the back

 

After another defeat Man City boss Andy Lowe will be glad to see the arrival of 3 new Defenders, after an extensive search of European based players Lowe managed to capture a couple of bargains,

’With the acquisition of 1 quality experienced defender and 2 highly rated young defenders, hopefully times will change’

With a couple of tough league fixtures coming up City we be hoping to tighten things up at the back,

‘Liverpool is a big game. If we win, the cup run is still alive bringing in much needed revenue, but more importantly the morale of the team would be massively increased with beating an inform team. Lose though and it could have disastrous effects to the team’.

 

Toon army in transfer swoop

 

New Newcastle boss Chris Chapman is preparing to make a massive swoop for new players in the next few days,

Batistuta is rumoured to be holding talks with Newcastle about a short-term contract, and after recently transferring some players – it seems more players could be on their way.

 

Selling like Silv-inho

 

Celta are trying to seal a deal for DF Silvinho – it seems Newcastle and Liverpool are locked in a tug-o-war deal over the Brazilian Defender, an initial £3million price tag was put on his head – but now the price may rise as the battle has only just began.
